  1. It is good that things like this are posted and made available to the public. Now, there needs to be an indepth, non-partisan, non-biased study done as to WHY so many people are incarcerated, and what can be done to change it. My theory, we've let "society" take the place of the family, both in responsibility for rasing our children and education of our children. When we removed the ability of parents to disciplen their children for wrong doing, we lost all control. Without that ability, we lost any chance of being able to teach our children right and wrong. Without consequences, children have no need to make the hard choices of doing what is right, rather then what is easy.
Our education system is also to blame. Teachers indoctrinate our children into thinking what "society" wants them to think, rather then challenging them to think for themselves. Schools teach children how to "fit in" to a specific social structure, rather then challenging them to improve it. Is it any wonder that our inner-cities are condemed, crime-ridden, disease infested cespools. WE allowed SOCIETY to teach our children that this is how it's ment to be.
It has to change, or we're looking at another generation of children lost to "Society".
