Overview of Congress, Courts and National Legislation

June 2010:

This site was started to bring together information (Congress, Courts and Legislation) in a "national sense" as it is related to registrants of sex offender registries and sex offenses. Accordingly, state issues, generally, will not be found here, unless they are also a national issue (Yes hard to distinguish) or focused on by Lawmakers in Washington DC.

The focus here is simple, Announcment of Court decisions (some get posted in our Court Decisions blog as well), Whats happening in Washington DC, or National Issues?

Folks will find news, court cases, and legislation to review, all on a topic that is -or will- take place in Washington DC about sex offenders or sex offenses, or something related in a national sense.

Folks can post comments on any post, but, comments will be moderated to keep the focus on whatever the post is. No bashing, cursing, no hate mail, no digging each other, and please remember civility and respect prevails.

If anyone has any ideas on how to improve this blog, please click on the RED BAR and send a e-mail to eAdvocate.

PS: We are not part of RSOL (Reform Sex Offender Laws) they are independent and also a wonderful site.

Thanks,
eAdvocate

Bad/Dead News Links:
Unfortunately as time goes on some of the Internet links will no longer work. This is due to various reasons such as the site is rearranged, older articles are removed, etc.

There is nothing we can do about this which is why we try to capture the essence of a story initially, the relevant facts, so folks can still see what happened.
Have a great day and a better tomorrow.
